Thanksgiving was quiet. Halloween was a lot of fun. I took Trin and her friends all over hells half acre collecting candy. She raked it all in happily and was disappointed when I insisted on calling it a night after 3 hours.
November just flew by. We celebrated a few birthdays and saw a magic show which was good but before I knew it *POOF* November was gone and we were two weeks into December.
I ended up working a lot of overtime and spent every free moment shopping, wrapping, cooking and cleaning. Christmas turned out pretty nice despite Trinity discovering her hamster dead in his food bowl on Christmas eve. Poor Trin was so sad the poor dear. It helped that she was spoiled by Caleb's Uncle Les and Grandma the next day! She got some books she had asked for, $500.00 to spend on clothes etc and a digital camera!
Caleb bought me a gorgeous dragonfly broach which I pinned to my jacket on December 25th and noticed it was missing on December 28th.
Now it's December 30th and we're going to celebrate New Year's eve tomorrow by spending the evening with my sister and then on Saturday we'll be visiting my other sister for a late Christmas dinner, then it's back to work on Monday.
